FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a perfusion method for preserving a contracting perfused donor heart in conditions of normothermia and a device for its implementation. At the same time to the aorta of the collected heart the tubing line supplying to the heart the oxygenated normothermic perfusate on the basis of autoblood is sutured. To the pulmonary artery, an oxygen-depleted perfusate discharge tubing line is sutured to the reservoir. From the reservoir, the perfusate is taken by a pump, fed into an oxygenator for oxygen saturation, then into a mechanism for maintaining a given temperature in range of 30–37 °C and fed into the heart again. To reduce the pressure surge in the perfusion system to the tubing line delivering the perfusate to the heart, and to the tubing line delivering the perfusate from the heart, additional tubing line performing the function of damping mechanism is connected. Device includes a container for placing a donor heart, a reservoir with a perfusate, a mechanism for enriching the perfusate with oxygen, a perfusion pump, a mechanism for maintaining a given temperature of the perfusate, perfusion tubing line and a damping mechanism in the form of a tubing line connecting the tubing line supplying the perfusate to the heart, and a perfusate discharge tubing line from the heart, for smoothing pressure surges in the perfusion system.

EFFECT: long-term preservation of the contracting donor heart under conditions of normothermia is provided.
