FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and medicine, in particular to a method for reconditioning a donor heart that has undergone thermal ischemia. To implement the method, the isolated heart is washed with a preservative solution cooled to +12°C, then the aorta is cannulated, the cannula is connected to a humidifier and through a reducer with a gas cylinder. After that, the heart is placed in a thermostat container and its gas perfusion is carried out with moistened oxygen at a constant pressure of 35 mm Hg for 1 hour.
EFFECT: present invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of reconditioning an ischemic compromised donor heart to increase its viability potential, which contributes to the expansion of the pool of donor organs.
