SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering, particularly to data processing devices. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that the device for detecting groups of single bits additionally includes external clock inputs, synchronous setting to zero state and operation permits, internal data buses, coincidence, senior group, number of units in the group and priority, internal flag of the beginning of the block and internal flag of maximum, external buses of exchange control, external flags "Buffer full" and "Buffer empty".
EFFECT: possibility of determining the maximum group of single bits in a binary input sequence.
