FIELD: chemistry of high-molecular compounds.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of high-molecular compounds and specifically to a method of producing a polymer composite material for making medical products. According to the proposed method: in 4–6 wt.% solution of 76–98 wt.% ε-polycaprolactone with number-average molecular weight of 70,000–90,000 g/mol (biodegradable aliphatic polyester) in acetone (organic solvent) adding 1–3 wt.% polysorbate 20 and 1–21 wt.% hydroxyapatite with particle size of 100–20,000 nm (phosphorus-containing filler), mixture is heated to 40–50 °C with mechanical stirring at rate of 200–270 rpm, held for 20–35 minutes while stirring, then, without stirring, cooled to -20...+0 °C to sedimentation in form of suspension of granules, then the granules suspension is mixed at speed of 400–600 rpm and subjected to vacuum filtration, wet granules are washed with isopropyl alcohol for 5–12 minutes and dried in a vacuum chamber to constant weight for 6 hours at pressure of 10 mbar and temperature of 30 °C.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a polymer composite material used to make medical products.
