SUBSTANCE: mutant xyloglucanase AsCeGH12b-mut having the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO 1, which corresponds to the amino acid sequence of wild-type family 12 xyloglucanase from Aspergillus cervinus VKPM F-612, with the replacement of the natural tyrosine residue at position 37 with a valine residue, and increased thermal stability and temperature maximum activity compared to the wild type enzyme is proposed. Also a recombinant strain of Escherichia coli VKPM B-14321, producing the specified xyloglucanase AsCeGH12b-mut, and a method of microbiological synthesis of the specified xyloglucanase using the specified strain are proposed.
