FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry, in particular to methods for determining the risk of formation of organochlorine compounds when using hydrochloric acid compositions used in oil production. Method of determining the risk of formation of organochlorine compounds when using hydrochloric acid compositions used in oil production involves adding a chemical reagent to an oil sample. Hydrochloric acid composition containing hydrochloric acid in amount of 20% of its volume is added to the oil sample and thoroughly mixed. Obtained mixture is held for at least 2 hours, then the mixture of oil and hydrochloric acid composition is treated with an alkaline solution until neutralization. After that, the mixture is dehydrated by centrifugal forces, and naphtha is distilled from the dehydrated oil. Weight fraction of organic chlorine is determined. Presence of risk of formation of organochlorine compounds is confirmed at content of organic chlorine in naphtha, distilled from oil treated with hydrochloric acid composition, more than 2 mln-1.
EFFECT: minimizing the risk of deterioration of the quality of the extracted oil in terms of content of organic chlorine in it, which is associated with the use of chemical reagents.
