FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a preparation which is MGL-S3 protein, lyophilised together with trehalose at ratio of 1 to 28 by weight, where MGL-S3 is a chimeric enzyme methionine-gamma-lyase with a smallpox virus growth factor S3 domain at the C-end, having methioninase activity, capable of having a cytotoxic effect on tumour cells and capable of binding with tumour cells, remaining on the cell surface and continuing to have a cytotoxic effect in the MTT- or PI-test when changing the cultivation medium. Also disclosed is a method of producing a preparation based on the chimeric enzyme MGL-S3.
EFFECT: invention can be effectively used for cancer therapy.
