SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. For this purpose, a communication apparatus is proposed, comprising: a receiver which, during operation, receives information identifying an access point (AP) working channel, in a channel which is different from the working channel, wherein this information further indicates, whether transmission of the probe request frame is allowed before receiving the enabling signal in the working channel; and a circuit which, during operation, determines, based on said information, whether a probe request frame should be generated for transmission before receiving an enabling signal in the working channel; and wherein the circuit is further configured to scan in the working channel to receive the enabling signal without transmitting the probe request frame based on the determination that transmission of the probe request frame before receiving the enabling signal in the working channel is not allowed, characterized by that the enabling signal is a Trigger frame transmitted over the working channel.

EFFECT: elimination of interference based on control of transmission permission.
