FIELD: measurement; nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in nuclear power engineering, rocket and aircraft industry. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that in the method of detecting neutron radiation with an adjustable sensitivity range based on the effect of single faults, sensitivity range of the method, which depends on the section of single failures in RAM, is controlled by changing the RAM supply voltage using the ratio: σRAM(USUP)=α∙exp(-kU∙USUP), where σRAM – section of single failures for RAM as a whole; USUP – RAM supply voltage; α, kU – experimentally determined constants.
EFFECT: regulation of range of measured fluence of neutron radiation.
