SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms of furniture transformation, and can be used in designs of transformable beds or sofas. Transformation mechanism for a transformable bed includes a first arc-shaped element having a longitudinal groove, and a second arc-shaped element, connected with possibility of mutual longitudinal movement along an arc-shaped trajectory and having means of attachment to parts of the transformable furniture. Second arc-shaped element comprises a longitudinal tenon mating the longitudinal slot of the first arc-shaped element and arranged in it with the possibility of the above mentioned mutual displacement of the first and the second arc-shaped elements.

EFFECT: possibility of folding and unfolding transformable furniture without using hinge joints in the transformation mechanism, which perform the function of the axis of rotation.
