STRAIN GAGE PRESSURE SENSOR Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01L9/04

Abstract RU 2816669 C1

FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making and can be used to create pressure sensors. Sensor comprises an elastic element in the form of a cylinder, a bridge of strain gages and a protective casing, which squeezes the elastic element. Resilient element and protective casing are made from same alloy. Bridge of strain gages on the insulating substrate is made in the form of a monolithic chain in which the longitudinal and transverse strain gages alternate with each other, and is fixed on the cylinder perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. When pressure is applied, the walls of the cylinder and the bridge of the strain gauges are deformed, and when supplying voltage to the output diagonal of the bridge, a signal proportional to the pressure is generated.

EFFECT: simpler design of the sensor, higher reliability, reduced temperature errors of "zero" and sensitivity.
