FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making and can be used to create low force sensors with high metrological characteristics and high sensitivity. Elastic element of the sensor is made in the form of a profiled membrane with four through holes, wherein the holes are located along the diameter of the membrane at its sealing perpendicular to each other and are shifted relative to the longitudinal axes of the formed beams by angle of 45°. Manufacturing of 4 through holes makes it possible to completely separate from the membrane a cross consisting of 2 beams and to fix two bridges of strain gages on their flat surfaces. Measured force is transmitted through the force-input unit to the membrane and the strain gauge bridges fixed on it. When supplying supply voltage to the input diagonal of the bridge and loading the sensor with a force on the output diagonal, an output signal is generated which is proportional to the measured force, which is transmitted to an electrical connector fixed on the housing of the sensor.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity and reliability of the sensor, simplified gluing of two bridges of strain gauges, which are located on the formed beams.
