FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for producing a gas stream formed by mixing carbon oxides formed during production of aluminium and hydrogen formed during pyrolysis of hydrocarbons. Method includes production of aluminium by electrolytic reduction of aluminium oxide in melt, using at least one anode from carbon-containing material, pyrolysis of hydrocarbons, with formation of pyrolysis carbon and hydrogen, wherein to obtain at least one anode, formed pyrolysis carbon is used, hydrogen formed during pyrolysis of hydrocarbons is mixed with carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide obtained during electrolytic production of aluminium to obtain a gas flow which is supplied for further use. Complex of equipment contains electrolysis device for production of aluminium, additionally comprising a reactor configured to pyrolysis of hydrocarbons to form pyrolysis carbon and hydrogen, a device for producing anodes for electrolysis of aluminium from pyrolysis carbon, or a carbon mixture containing pyrolysis carbon, a device for mixing hydrogen from pyrolysis with carbon oxides from aluminium electrolysis, and a device for feeding the obtained gas mixture for further use, wherein the device for producing anodes from carbon obtained by pyrolysis is connected to the reactor by means of a feed device, wherein said feeder can feed carbon produced by pyrolysis in reactor to produce carbon anodes.

EFFECT: rational use of carbon oxides formed during aluminium electrolysis as close as possible to the place of their origin.
