FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to refiner discs used for mechanical refining of wood chips into wood pulp. Refining disc comprises refining zone on disc face surface, refining blades in refining zone, grooves between blades and at least one element inducing rotation in at least one groove. At that, at least one element inducing rotation is a semi-helical element containing a front side wall, a comb and a rear side wall. At that, at least one element inducing rotation is made with possibility of imparting spiral flow to the supplied material, the flow of which passes through at least one groove. At least one rotating element is located on at least one side wall of at least one groove. Feed material is introduced into the gap between the opposite refiner discs, at least one of the opposite refiner discs is rotated, inducing rotary flow of the supplied material, refining the supplied material, the flow of which passes through the gap, and removing the refined supplied material from the gap between the opposite refiner disks.
EFFECT: higher efficiency in getting the feed material out of the grooves.
