SUBSTANCE: plate for refining lignocellulose material comprises: radially outward edge and base surface, refining zone with multiple radial knives and grooves arranged there between. Note here that said knives extend upward from base surface while every groove features definite width. It comprises also steam channel extending across knives and refining zone grooves. Note here that steam channel has radially outer edge located radially inward relative to outer peripheral edge of the plate. Steam channel features width exceeding that of the groove.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
