METHOD FOR ASSESSING STATE OF HEMOSTASIS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01N33/49 G01N33/86

Abstract RU 2817000 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anticoagulation therapy, and can be used to assess the state of hemostasis. Blood plasma thrombin generation test is performed. Endogenous thrombin potential of the analyzed plasma sample (ETP) in nM*min, obtained in the thrombin generation test without the addition of thrombomodulin, median endogenous thrombin potential (NETP) in nM*min, calculated as a result of thrombin generation test without thrombomodulin addition in a group of healthy individuals. Additionally, determining the percentage of the endogenous potential of thrombin of the analyzed plasma sample (TMP), which occurred as a result of using the trigger reagent, which is a mixture of recombinant human tissue factor in concentration of 5 pmol and negatively charged procoagulant phospholipids in concentration of 4 mcmol with addition of thrombomodulin. Based on these definitions, a coagulation index (CO) is calculated by formula . If the CO value is less than or equal to 2.5, the hemostasis state is considered to be a hypocoagulation state. If the CO value is more than 2.5, the hemostasis state is considered to be a hypercoagulable state.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of improving the personalized assessment of the patient's coagulation hemostasis and monitoring the anticoagulant prevention or therapy by determining the thrombin generation test in the patient's blood plasma using the disclosed method.
