SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to rheumatology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and Sjogren disease (SD). Patient’s peripheral blood is analysed for relative values of B-lymphocyte subpopulations IgDdimCD27dim (L₁), IgDdimCD38low (L₂), CD27lowCD38hi (L₃), IgDlowCD38hi (L₄), IgDhiCD38hi (L₅), IgDdimCD38dim (L₆). Values of F1 and F2 are calculated by formulas: F1 = −0.143 + 1.005L₁ + 1.579L₂ + 3.287L₃ − 1.546L₄ − 1.697L₅ − 1.014L₆, F2 = −0.551 − 4.256L₁ + 2.838L₂ + 1.346L₃ + 0.505L₄ − 1.504L₅ + 1.656L₆. If F1<0 and F2>0, SLE is diagnosed. If F1<0 and F2<0, SD is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of differential diagnosis of SLE and SD due to immunophenotyping of patient's peripheral blood B-lymphocytes.
