FIELD: allergology; immunology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for sensitizing guinea pigs with mycobacteria in an adjuvant for assessing sensitizing properties of mycobacteria. For this purpose, mycobacteria are subcutaneously injected into guinea pigs at four points at distance of 3–5 cm from each other in the region of the back—withers and sacrum—in dose of 5 mg in an adjuvant, including 15 parts of lanolin and 85 parts of vaseline oil, in amount of 0.5 cm3 per one animal.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the sensitizing role of various types of mycobacteria for the subsequent assessment of the level of sensitization by different types of mycobacterial allergens, wider range of methods for sensitizing guinea pigs.
