FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and veterinary science and can be used for assessing sensibilizing properties of atypical mycobacteria. That is ensured by subcutaneous introduction to 2-3 albino guinea-pigs or white guinea pigs of the investigated type of atypical mycobacteria in dosage 1 mg/ml. Further sensitizing properties of atypical mycobacteria are evaluated 30–35 days after sensitization. Simultaneous allergic test is performed using two doses of allergen purified complex of atypical mycobacteria (CAM) and two doses of purified tuberculin (PPD) for mammals. Allergic reaction to two CAM doses and two PPD doses are evaluated 24 hours later. Intensity values of the allergic reaction are compared for maximum and minimum doses of CAM and PPD for mammals. Absence of an allergic reaction to a minimum dose of CAM and a minimum dose of PPD for mammals testifies to a low sensibilizing capacity of the investigated type of atypical mycobacteria.

EFFECT: invention provides more accurate method of assessing sensibilizing properties of atypical mycobacteria.
