FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely nephrology, and can be used to determine indications for denervation of renal arteries in selecting patients with resistant arterial hypertension. Patient is assessed daily arterial pressure monitoring (level of average daily pressure and variability), routine indicators of carbohydrate metabolism (HbA1c and insulin resistance index HOMA), as well as Doppler sonography (resistive indices in renal arteries), with mathematical calculation of renal denervation efficiency according to linear regression equation formula. Equation is applicable for people of both sexes, regardless of age, initial presence of chronic renal disease and renal denervation.
EFFECT: method provides higher prediction accuracy for nephroprotective efficiency of renal denervation in the form of retardation of rate of progression of renal dysfunction with RAH associated with 2 type DM, which reduces the unreasonable risk of complications of the given procedure in the patients with a low probability of the effective response, as well as the cost of the expensive procedure.
