FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is intended to predict the effectiveness of renal denervation (RD) in the treatment of patients with arterial hypertension (AH) resistant to drug therapy, in combination with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Transthoracic echocardiography is performed on the patient, the average E/e’ ratio is evaluated, the minute blood volume (MBV) is measured, blood pressure is measured, and total peripheral vascular resistance (TPVR) is calculated. The prognosis of the effectiveness of the procedure of sympathetic renal denervation of the renal arteries (R) is determined by the original formula, substituting mathematically processed values of the above indicators. And with an R equal to 0.5 or more, the effectiveness of the procedure is predicted and it is prescribed to the patient, and with an R less than 0.5, the inefficiency of the procedure is predicted and it is considered impractical.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict a significant decrease in blood pressure 6 months after RD, which makes it possible to identify patients with insufficient intervention effectiveness.
