FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ablation probe, in particular to a high-frequency ablation probe of biological tissue, also called a high-frequency ablation probe, with internal cooling, primarily to a catheter probe. Probe for high-frequency ablation of biological tissue has a flexible hose, the wall of which limits a channel providing internal cooling of the probe, and at the distal end portion is provided with at least one electrode for exposing the biological tissue to electric current. Wall of the hose at the distal end section has a higher radial heat conductivity in the direction from the electrode to the channel than outside this distal end section.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively cool electrodes operating in heat-stressed mode, with insignificant effect of cold on biological tissue or endoscope outside the distal end portion of the probe, improved cooling of electrodes due to more intensive removal of heat released on them into the channel enables to keep the electrodes moist, which prevents undesirable drying of tissue as a result of evaporation of tissue liquid.
