SUBSTANCE: method of forming a panoramic image, characterized by that a high-resolution video signal is captured using at least two multifaceted modules; transmitting a raw video signal to a computing unit; video signal processing, which uses calculations with a single instruction stream, multiple data stream; composition of all video signals into a single video stream in an equidistant projection format, obtaining a composite video signal. Each video signal undergoes correction and compensation of distortions of the optics of the multifaceted module, transformation of coordinate systems in a projection with bilinear interpolation, gradient mixing of colour channels at intersections of angular adjacent sections of the spherical surface, image filtering by functions: colour palette, brightness and saturation, definition.
EFFECT: high spatial and energy resolution of a panoramic image when transmitting it with as low a delay as possible, close to real time.
