FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology-orthopaedics, neurosurgery and neurology, and can be used in treating chronic shoulder pain. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is performed by palisade technique. Four cannulas for radiofrequency ablation are installed between the spine of the scapula and the clavicle to the lower edge of the glenoid, and the RFA of the inferior branch of the suprascapular nerve is performed. Then three cannulas are installed by palisade method between spine of scapula and clavicle, lateral to notch of scapula, and ablation of superior and acromial branches of suprascapular nerve is performed. Further, two cannulas are placed on the surgical neck of the humerus and radiofrequency ablation of the axillary nerve is performed. At the second stage of treatment, the patient is turned over to the supine position, and two cannulas are placed at the lip of the glenoid, and the radiofrequency ablation of the superior subscapular nerve is performed. Further, applying the cannula on the coracoid process, radiofrequency ablation of the sensitive branch of the lateral thoracic nerve is performed. Radiofrequency ablation is performed in bipolar mode at temperature of 80 °C for 90 seconds.
EFFECT: method enables complete denervation of the shoulder joint with elimination of pain syndrome in the shoulder joint by performing RFA in accordance with the specified sequence of applying radiofrequency cannulas and their number in a certain area.
