SUBSTANCE: method can be used for endoscopic decompression of the suprascapular nerve. At the first stage, therapeutic and diagnostic arthroscopy of the shoulder joint is performed. Then, at the second stage, the arthroscope is transferred to the region of the subacromial space of the shoulder joint and, using a low-traumatic technique, a lateral access is formed. Further, a working instrument is inserted through the formed channel, with the help of an ablator and a shaver, subacromial decompression, bursectomy, removal of scar and fatty tissues under the acromial process of the scapula are performed. The base of the coracoid process is visualized, outside of which there is the transverse ligament of the scapula, under which the suprascapular nerve passes. At the third stage, the suprascapular nerve is visualized and decompressed by dissecting the transverse ligament of the scapula using an obturator according to the developed technique.

EFFECT: method allows to simplify the surgical technique of endoscopic decompression of the suprascapular nerve, reduce the operation time, reduce the risk of injury to neurovascular structures due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
