FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device is made with variable height of one-way thread profile. Projections with increased height of thread profile are localized within the limits of full turns of the helical line. Projections are designed to carry an immediate load of the orthopedic structure. Ledges are located on adjacent turns and are mutually offset in angle. In alternative design, the protrusions are located from each other through the coil. Method of implant installation involves formation of bone bed in form of narrowing hole. Sizes of the hole are selected based on the condition of free accommodation of the predominant part of the implant. Implant is inserted into the cavity of the bed with the projections resting on the spongy layer of the bone. Then the implant is screwed into the bone in several turns for fixation. Shape of the implant is optimized to intensify the osteointegration of the immediately loaded implant. Reduced traumatic effect on bone of screw elements of implant with provision of immediate biomechanical load. Bone tissue particles are compacted in the chip groove on the top of the implant. Increased reliability of osteointegration.
EFFECT: higher survival rate of the implant.
