FIELD: pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of phytopreparations from medicinal plants and food industry, namely to a method of producing a biologically active food additive. Method for producing a biologically active food additive, involving preparation of raw material—peach leaves, which are poured with purified water at ratio of 1:10–1:20, primary extraction is carried out, characterized by that the method further includes preparation of raw material—birch leaves and/or sea-buckthorn leaves to the size of the main fraction of 4–8 mm, and the mixture is stirred to accelerate wetting and heating to temperature of 25–95 °C and held for 15–60 minutes, then pressure is created in container minus 0.1–0.99 kgf/cm2 until the extractant boils at preset temperature values and holding at these parameters for 5–15 minutes, followed by a smooth or by abrupt equalization of pressure to atmospheric and with holding for 5–15 minutes with constant stirring, the obtained concentrated extract is drained, vegetable extraction cake is squeezed, extraction is filtered and evaporated in a vacuum evaporator at temperature of 30–95 °C in vacuum of 0.05–0.95 kgf/cm2, cooled to temperature of 2–6 °C, held at this temperature for at least 24–48 hours until the ballast substances fall out, which are removed by filtration or various centrifugation methods.

EFFECT: said invention increases output of biologically active substances from vegetal raw materials, reduces the amount of raw materials used per unit of product, which is associated with maximum depletion of raw materials per one extraction cycle.
