FIELD: medicine; neonatology; pediatrics; hematology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the development of arterial and venous thrombosis in newborns. Determining the presence of chronic placental insufficiency, fetal growth retardation syndrome, isthmic-cervical insufficiency, male sex, infectious factor, conjugation hyperbilirubinemia, respiratory failure in the neonatal period, carriage of genotype T/T gene polymorphism ITGA2 in position 807 and genotype 4G/4G polymorphism of gene PAI-1 in position −675. Obtained results are evaluated in points and the discriminant function F is calculated. If F is less than 0, a high risk of thrombosis is predicted, and if F is more than 0, there is no risk of developing arterial and venous thrombosis in the newborn in the early and late neonatal period.
EFFECT: method provides high accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of prognosis due to determination of integral value obtained as a result of assessment of anamnestic and clinical-laboratory signs in points.
