FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and aims at prediction of floating deep venous thrombosis in the inferior vena cava. Clinical laboratory and instrumental methods of examination are applied, and if observing the signs related to deep venous thrombosis, molecular genetic analysis of the first-type plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI-1) gene is performed additionally. If a polymorphous variant 675 4G/4G of the PAI-1 gene, the presence of the thrombus flotation is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides the effective method for prediction of the thrombus flotation in the inferior vena cava and enables using the targeted drug-induced correction of fibrinolysis.
