FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatric oncology and haematology, and can be used for prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting in children and adolescents receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy. From the first day of chemotherapy, the patients are prescribed 5-HT3 receptor antagonist preparation ondansetron in dose of 0.15 mg/kg intravenously before chemotherapy in one administration, then every 8 hours, but not more than 32 mg/day, neurokinin receptor antagonist aprepitant in dose of 3 mg/kg/day, but not more than 125 mg/day, orally in single dose 1 hour before chemotherapy on the first day, the next two days in dose of 2 mg/kg/day, but not more than 80 mg/day, orally in a single dose a day and a synthetic glucocorticosteroid hormonal preparation dexamethasone in dose of 5 mg/m2/day intravenously or orally in a single administration/reception 1 hour before chemotherapy with the addition of olanzapine in dose of 0.07 mg/kg/day, but not more than 5 mg/day, orally once a day, throughout the course of chemotherapy. A combination of dexamethasone in dose of 5 mg/m2/day intravenously or orally and olanzapine in dose of 0.07 mg/kg/day, but not more than 5 mg/day, is administered orally once a day for three more days after the end of cytostatic treatment.

EFFECT: invention provides effective and safe control of nausea and vomiting in children and adolescents receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy.
