FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and concerns a device for determining concentration of microorganisms. Device has a light source, two photodetectors of light radiation, a calculation unit and a display unit. Light-emitting diode with wavelength of 640 nm is used as a light source. Photodetectors used are photodiodes operating in the same range. Light source and the photodetectors are located in the same plane, wherein one photodetector is located at angle of 30–60 degrees with respect to the light source, and the second photodetector is located at angle of 60–105 degrees with respect to the light source.

EFFECT: simplified design and possibility of continuous determination of microorganism concentration during cultivation in the apparatus without sampling.
