SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to albumin-binding radioactive metal complexes, specifically to a metal complex of Formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. In Formula (I): M is ¹¹¹In³⁺; X is absent; R¹ is C₁-C₁₈ alkyl; Y is absent or selected from -NH-C(O)- and -C(O)-NH-; R² is C₁-C₁₈ alkyl; and TBG is a maleimide group. Also disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition, methods for diagnosing and treating cancer, a method for assessing sensitivity of a subject with cancer to an albumin-binding chemotherapeutic agent, method for assessing cancer susceptibility in a subject to an albumin-binding chemotherapeutic agent, method for assessing the ability of an albumin-binding chemotherapeutic agent to treat cancer in a subject, a diagnostic kit, use of said metal complex.

EFFECT: disclosed metal complexes are used as imaging agents for radiolabeled endogenous and exogenous albumin in position cysteine-34, which in combination with adequate imaging techniques enable to detect albumin in the body and determine the degree of albumin absorption and its distribution in pathological areas of the patient.
