FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, in particular to ships on a compressed air stream, which destroys the ice cover by a resonant method. Method is proposed for the destruction of the ice cover by a ship on a compressed airflow when it moves across ice at a resonant speed. In the rigid lateral skegs, with which the bottom of the vessel is equipped, longitudinal pressure channels are made, the ends of which are damped. In the lower part of the skegs, holes are made for the exit of the spent hot gas, and the holes are oriented towards the ice support surface. Longitudinal pressure channels of skegs through the hull of the vessel are connected by means of a pipe with a source of pressure of the exhausted hot gas stream of the exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine to create a constant (non-intermittent) additional load with the help of maximum warming over the top of the flexural-gravitational wave when the vessel is moving on an air stream at a resonant speed along the edge of the ice cover.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the thickness of the ice to be destroyed and the effectiveness of the impact on the ice cover of the vessel on a compressed airflow.
