FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to surface vessels running on compressed air flow and breaking ice cover by resonance method when moving on ice cover. For destruction of ice cover by vessel on compressed air flow excitation of flexural-gravity waves in ice is used when vessel moves above ice with resonance speed. During vessel movement, additional load is created on ice, directed downwards, by injection of high-pressure jet under bottom of hull, limited by side skegs by means of coaxial impeller located in fore part of vessel. Confuser-nozzle with aeration holes is located after the nozzle of the coaxial impeller, and the rotary bucket of the reverse, which is fixed on the axis of rotation in the niche of the housing bottom, is arranged in series after the confuser-nozzle. Lifting force directed upwards is formed to create a hanging position of the bow of the vessel above the ice. Created pressure from the weight of the vessel is generated in its aft part periodically with frequency equal to the frequency of resonance flexural-gravity waves during the time equal to half the period of these waves of maximum height during movement of the vessel.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of ice breaking.
