FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in receiving-transmitting radio devices and phased antenna arrays in the microwave range. Controlled delay line on exchanged spin waves, comprising a three-layer structure of two layers of gallium-gadolinium garnet (GGG) and a layer of yttrium-iron garnet (YIG) located between them, input and output microwave signal converters and a current-controlled magnetizing field source, according to the solution, the GGG-YIG-GGG three-layer structure is made in the form of a disc, the YIG layer is a monocrystalline layer, and the GGG layers are epitaxial films, the input and output microwave signal converters are made in the form of identical coaxial transmission lines, outer diameter of which coincides with the diameter of the disk of the GGG-YIG-GGG structure, current-controlled magnetizing field source is made in the form of a combined magnetic system consisting of two identical annular permanent magnets, two cone-shaped steel pole tips with an axial hole equal to the internal diameter of the permanent magnets and an electric control coil located in the gap of the permanent magnets and pole tips, GGG-YIG-GGG structure is installed in the centre of the working gap so that its flat surfaces adjoin the ends of the input and output coaxial transmission line.
EFFECT: multiple increase of delay time at reduction of dimensions of controlled delay line on exchanged spin waves.
