FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely determination of particle size or their size distribution, and can be used to determine size of globules of water-oil emulsion. Device for determining the size of globules of water-oil emulsion comprises a digital camera, an optical cell and a computer, and additionally comprises a microscope, electric drives, which are attached through a mechanical transmission to the microscope object stage position adjustment handles, controlled by a microcontroller, emulsion preparation tank with a cover, in which there are holes for the emulsion preparation pump, installed so that its intake hole is at the phase interface level, and the outlet at angle of 90 degrees to the tank wall, and the emulsion supply pump installed in front of the emulsion preparation pump, the emulsion supply pump outlet is connected to the optical cell, technical tank for emulsion discharge after analysis, programmable power supply unit for voltage supply to pumps.

EFFECT: shorter time for measuring the size of emulsion globules and broader functionalities of the device.
