FIELD: analytical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry and can be used to determine the elemental composition of multicomponent samples in a liquid aggregate state and can be used for analysis of solutions of chemically hazardous liquids during their technological processing. Method for monitoring the chemical composition of a hazardous process liquid includes sampling at control points of a pipeline with a chemically hazardous liquid located in a protected sealed box, subsequent irradiation of hazardous liquid samples with a light source passing through a transparent flow cell in a direction perpendicular to the liquid flow, and detecting light radiation passed through the cuvette with a spectrometer to detect the presence of the desired chemical elements in the liquid. Liquid samples are taken at control points of the pipeline and irradiated with a light flux directly inside the pipeline, in which break in control points transparent flow cells are built, wherein the input light flux is supplied to each transparent cell via a fibre-optic cable in the form of a light flux normalized by the value, and the light flux from it is carried out through the output fibre-optic cable to the input slit of the spectrometer.

EFFECT: determination of sample elements in a wide range of concentrations with a small amount of sample, with high efficiency of the method, use of minimum sample preparation, as well as elimination of radiation load on laboratory staff and necessity to utilize analysed sample.
