FIELD: medicine; cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for prediction of complications associated with the condition of the prosthesis and aortic root following transcatheter implantation of the aortic valve at the stage of surgical planning. Computed tomography (CT) is performed to assess the following parameters: number of aortic valve (AV) cusps, distance from coronary artery orifices to annulus fibrosus, shape of annulus fibrosus, degree of AV calcification, AV calcification symmetry, value of aortic-ventricular angle, changing the aortic wall with assignment of a certain point to each criterion. Obtained points are summed up. If the number of points is 8 and more, the probability of developing complications is high, from 5 to 7 points—medium, less than 5 points—low.
EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of prediction due to evaluation of seven indicators.
