FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to methods of preparing grinding wastes from production of permanent magnets for further processing, and can be used for removal of oily inclusions of grinding slurries with a solid base. Method of preparing grinding wastes from production of permanent magnets for further processing includes preliminary treatment of the initial pulp by magnetic separation and subsequent vacuum thermal treatment of the obtained magnetic fraction, wherein vacuum heat treatment is carried out in two stages: the first one – when the magnetic fraction is heated to a temperature of not more than 100 °C and the second – at temperature of 300–350 °C, wherein vacuum heat treatment is carried out in the presence of liquid paraffin additive.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of preparing grinding wastes from production of permanent magnets for further processing.
