SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compound of formula (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, where each of R1-R7, R9 and R10 is independently selected from H and D; each X and Y is independently selected from the group consisting of Cl and Br, wherein X and Y cannot be Cl at the same time; B is N, and A is CH or CD. Compound has higher THR-beta agonist activity and significantly improved selectivity with respect to THR-beta/THR-alpha as compared to the compound MGL-3196 and has significantly improved pharmacokinetic properties.
EFFECT: compound according to the present invention has a good prospect of use for producing a THR-beta agonist and drugs for treating diseases associated with THR-beta agonists, for example, dyslipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
