FIELD: various technological processes; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of diamond-carbide plates used to equip drilling tools. A layer of diamond powder is placed on a hard-alloy base containing tungsten carbide and cobalt, and the assembly is placed in a high-pressure cell. A metal element made of titanium, zirconium or their alloy is placed on the side of the diamond powder layer. Diamond powder layer is impregnated with cobalt melt in hard-alloy base at pressure of 5–7 GPa.
EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical and operational characteristics of the obtained plates.
