SUBSTANCE: invention relates to audio source encoding systems. Signal model data containing the model parameter are determined. First prediction coefficient to be applied to the first previous discrete value of the subband signal is determined. Time interval of the first previous discrete value immediately precedes the time interval of the first discrete value. First prediction coefficient is determined in response to the model parameter using the first analytical function. Second prediction coefficient to be applied to the second previous discrete value of the subband signal is determined. Time interval of the second previous discrete value immediately precedes the time interval of the first previous discrete value. Second prediction coefficient is determined in response to the model parameter using the second analytical function. Discrete value is estimated by applying the first prediction coefficient to the first previous discrete value and by applying the second prediction coefficient to the second previous discrete value.
EFFECT: high coding efficiency.
