FIELD: electricity; microwave treatment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave treatment in agriculture and food industry. Radiating waveguide of the microwave electromagnetic field has a housing, in the lower part of the wall of which slotted holes are uniformly distributed, and one of the ends of the waveguide is directly interfaced with a microwave energy source. Waveguide housing is made semi-circular, the slotted holes are placed on its semi-circular side with a distance between them equal to half the wavelength, the semi-circular part of the waveguide is covered with a radiotransparent material. Magnetron is located on the flat side of the waveguide, its radiating output is located at the same distance between the first slotted hole and a plug placed in the end of the waveguide, which is equal to half the wavelength of the microwave electromagnetic field.

EFFECT: increasing uniformity of electromagnetic field distribution in processed product and increasing plant productivity.
