FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, particularly to a method for genotyping a polymorphic locus rs42202 (A>G) in humans. Said method is based on a real-time PCR method using allele-specific fluorescent probes, wherein identification of allelic variants of rs42202 (A>G) is carried out using forward and reverse primers rs42202 with sequences SEQ ID NO: 1 and 2, respectively, as well as using rs42202-A-allele-specific and rs42202-G-allele-specific fluorescent-labelled probes with sequences SEQ ID NO: 3 and 4, respectively.
EFFECT: invention provides a simple and cost-effective method of genotyping single-nucleotide polymorphism rs42202 (A>G) using allele-specific signalling probes containing FAM and ROX fluorophores.
