FIELD: fasteners.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fasteners and can be used in connection of structural elements in various mechanisms or structures to prevent spontaneous unscrewing of nut from bolt thread. Nut with unscrewing locking mechanism comprises hollow body with thread on inner surface. In the nut body on the side of the threaded surface there are at least two blind holes, in each of which a locking element is arranged with the possibility of free movement. Depth of each blind hole exceeds the maximum linear dimensions of the locking element, and the longitudinal axes of the blind holes are unidirectionally deviated from the radial axis and form angles of 20° up to 80° with vertical and horizontal sections passing through their bases.
EFFECT: simplification of assembly of structural elements by means of the proposed nut without possibility of its reverse screwing or dismantling.
