FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine indications for delayed plastic surgery of pharyngeal and pharyngoesophageal defects in a patient with a malignant neoplasm of the larynx and laryngeal pharynx. An examination, diagnostics using a fluorescent lamp, computed tomography of the head and neck organs, determination of the leukocyte index, total protein level, albumin level and nutritional status are performed with a rating scale represented by points, and the subsequent calculation of the delayed plastic index, equal to the sum of the obtained values. If the score is 5 or less, plastic is not recommended; if the score is more than 5, plastic is recommended.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the frequency of postoperative complications by implementing a personalized approach to determining the indications and timing of delayed repair of pharyngeal and pharyngoesophageal defects in a patient with a malignant neoplasm of the larynx and laryngeal pharynx by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
