SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flow cells. Fluid system operation method includes linear movement of the lifting plate and the plunger assembly of the system carried by the lifting plate to the plunger assembly of the reagent cartridge, wherein the plunger assembly of the system includes at least one plunger of the system, and the plunger assembly of the reagent cartridge includes at least one plunger of the reagent cartridge; actuating said at least one plunger of the reagent cartridge through a first predetermined distance for contacting the gasket assembly of the flow cell assembly in response to contacting said at least one plunger of the system with said at least one plunger of the reagent cartridge, wherein the flow cell assembly includes a flow cell including at least one channel, a flow cell inlet and a flow cell outlet, a first fluid connection in fluid communication with the flow cell inlet, and a second fluid connection fluidly connected to the outlet of the flow cell, and a gasket assembly fluidly connected to the first and second fluid connections and having an inlet gasket having a through hole and in fluid communication with the inlet of the flow cell by means of a first fluid connection, and an outlet gasket having a through hole and in fluid communication with the outlet of the flow cell by means of a second fluid connection; and fluid connection of the inlet gasket to the first opening of the reagent cartridge and the fluid connection of the outlet gasket to the second opening of the reagent cartridge in response to actuation by said at least one plunger of the system of said at least one cartridge plunger for reagents to a second predetermined distance to provide fluid communication between the reagent cartridge holes and the flow cell through the flow cell inlet and the flow cell outlet.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of liquid cartridges.
