FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, namely to orthopaedic dentistry. A closing valve for complete removable dentures is formed by edging the edges of the rigid base. At the same time stages are carried out, at which two impressions with corrective mass are taken. After hardening of corrective mass for formation of additional base, retreating from vestibular side 5 mm from lower transitional fold, edge of impression is edged with strip of basic wax not more than 0.5 cm. A plaster anatomical model of the jaw is cast and a rigid base with a bite template is made. Then clasp wax is laid along the edge of the rigid base and squeezed along the plaster model; to form a drop-shaped edge, the contact of the edge of the rigid base close to the gypsum model is controlled. Then, excess wax is removed from the edges of the rigid base, and hot polymerisation is performed.
EFFECT: by forming an individual drop-shaped edge on a rigid base, the method enables higher accuracy of making full removable dentures, as well as providing the safety of the dentures for the patients.
