FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aluminium production and can be used to trap toxic gaseous emissions when rearranging anode pins of an aluminium electrolysis cell. In order to catch hazardous emissions at rearrangement of anode pins of aluminium electrolysis cell with upper current supply, gaseous emissions are localized in gas-collecting sleeves. They are moved to adsorber via heat-insulated hoses and gases are adsorbed by means of carbon sorbent. Gases are directed into gas holder. Gases are transported in the gas holder to the place of gas afterburning. Gases are extruded from the gas holder. Gases are transferred into adsorber by rarefaction. Gases are transferred to gas holder by their injection by means of ejector, which is interconnected with adsorber. Before adsorption of gases, they are additionally condensed. Gas-collecting sleeve is made in the form of a hollow split cylinder with hinges and a branch pipe with a union. Inner diameter of the sleeve exceeds the diameter of the anode pin by 20% to 40%. Centring of the gas-collecting sleeve relative to the well is ensured by embedding the support legs of the sleeve into the upper layer of the anode body.

EFFECT: providing more complete trapping of toxic gaseous emissions directly during extraction of the current-carrying anode pin from the hole due to installation of a gas discharge sleeve in the form of a hollow detachable cylinder around the anode pin before its extraction, which provides improved environmental conditions of aluminium production.
