SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for surgical treatment of giant cell tumour of knee joint bones. Method involves application of a haemostatic tourniquet, a fenestrated osteotomy, mechanical evacuation and aspiration of tumour masses, as well as curettage and treatment of tumour cavity walls with high-speed burs. Partial irregularities of tumour cavity relief are filled with bone cement. Condylar support plate is placed under the image intensifier control while maintaining a gap between the plate and the edge of the tumour cavity and fixed with screws. Through the gap between the plate and the edge of the tumour cavity, the final filling of the tumour cavity with bone cement is performed. In the postoperative period, an adjuvant anticancer therapy is prescribed using the preparation Denosumab in dosage of 120 mg for 3 to 6 months.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of restoring the full function of the extremity without loss of strength of the bones forming the knee joint, with a minimum risk of continued tumour growth due to the peculiarities of the sequence of the method steps.
